Data Protection Policy Reisigo

Basics

This data protection declaration concerns all persons who use the services of (Philipp Dörfler Reiseverorganiser, Gassergasse 34/8, 1050 Vienna, hereinafter Resigo). We thereby inform you about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of your personal data by our company. We respect your privacy and strive to strictly comply with the legal requirements for the processing of your personal data (EU Regulation No. 679/2016 (GDPR), DSG and TKG 2003). All your personal data will be processed on this basis.

Information obligations (Articles 13 and 14 GDPR)

Your personal data, that is

  • Your master data (last name, first name, address, email address, telephone and fax number, date of birth, customer number) as well as language and vehicle license plate number,
  • the data in travel documents presented (passport number, passport details, date of birth, issuing authority, term, nationality) and ID cards (identity card, driving license, etc. including issuing authority and term),
  • the data on training or certification (training data, issuer, date of issue, period of validity),
  • the data on the payment method and in connection with payments, in particular with EC cards, credit cards and bank cards,
  • the destinations, length of stay, hotels, contact persons, conditions, special services, health data, frequent flyer number, personal preferences that you disclose to us, and
  • special categories of data such as health data and data about special needs and marriage/partnership,

are required for our services. This also includes planning, offering and bookings of trips, tourist guides, hotels, restaurants, rental vehicles, transfers, registration processing, insurance, events, tours, accreditations, vouchers including customer creation, billing and their verification (B2B, B2C, FIT), ticket bookings and tour guides .

We therefore store and process this data for these purposes and, if necessary, pass it on to third parties with whom we work together to provide the most effective and best possible service for our customers - this can also include service providers in third countries as contract processors, software and agency service providers belong –, transmitted.

We do not use profiling or automated decisions.

The legal bases for these data processing processes are

  • the fulfillment of our pre-contractual and contractual obligations towards you,
  • Your consents obtained from you,
  • Statutory, contractual or other legal obligations on our part (e.g. documentation rights and obligations under accounting, tax and customs law, contracts, reporting, legal disputes)
  • § 96 TKG and
  • our legitimate interests (e.g. improving our customer service, including in the area of direct advertising or protecting our own legal interests).

The duration of storage is determined by the duration of our business relationship, the consent you have given, and the statutory retention requirements and legal obligations that apply to us. We emphasize that in the case of regular cooperation to provide the best possible customer service, we strive to know the customer requests you have already communicated to us so well that we can satisfy you on an ongoing and long-term basis.

 

Our websites

When you access our website, your access data is automatically collected and stored. This access data may include, in particular, the page accessed, the files viewed, the date and time of the access, the user's IP address, data of the accessing computer, in particular the browser and the operating system, as well as the amount of data and the report of the successful access. We use this access data for internal statistical purposes to ensure the security of our offer and to optimize the offer. If an illegal act is suspected, the access data will be evaluated to preserve evidence.

By entering your personal data into one of our contact forms, you agree to the transmission to, storage and processing by us for the duration of the processing of this specific request. This applies in particular to your inquiries via contact form, chat and emails that you send to us. We need this data to process your request and in these cases we also store your IP address for the purposes of preserving evidence. The data will be stored for as long as this is necessary to deal with any additional or subsequently asked questions by you or us.

Disposal. You keep your access data carefully and ensure that no unauthorized persons access the account. We assume no liability for unauthorized access that is, even if only partially, due to misconduct on your part.

Your account data is only transmitted via an encrypted internet connection (https). We assume no liability for the loss of data or third-party access to your data if we have adhered to the security measures required by the state of the art.

The legal basis for this data processing is your consent, our pre-contractual and contractual obligations towards you, our legitimate interests and legal obligations of all kinds and Section 96 TKG.

 

Newsletter

You are free to subscribe to our newsletter. The registration, for which you must provide your e-mail address and give your consent to receive the newsletter, can only become effective if you confirm a registration link that you receive by e-mail. In order to be able to provide you with targeted information in the newsletter that is of particular interest to you, we allow you to provide information about specific interests, deadlines, locations and regions and the like when you register.

The data you provide in the calendly form will be stored by us in order to process your request and to use it in the event of any questions. This data will remain with us until you request us to delete it or the purpose for storing it no longer applies.

We process your data to enable quick and easy appointments and to improve our services for customers and interested parties. This is a legitimate interest in accordance with Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

It should be noted that in the event that a contract within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit b GDPR is concluded for a trip, the personal data concerning you and your travel companions will be transmitted to internal and external service providers (booking platforms, organizers, airlines, train companies, hotels , rating platforms, payment platforms, insurance companies, and much more). We expressly point out that, depending on the trip, the tour operator and the destination, personal data may leave the European Economic Area. We also expressly point out that it is not possible for us to obtain the necessary guarantees within the meaning of the GDPR with regard to compliance with statutory data protection requirements for all recipients of personal data relating to you and your travel companions outside the European Economic Area. By booking you expressly agree to these conditions. If you revoke these terms and conditions, we will not be able to enter into the contract.

By making your inquiry/booking, you confirm that you are authorized to give us the necessary consent within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit a GDPR with regard to the transfer of personal data relating to you and your travel companions to unsafe third countries within the meaning of Art. 49 Para. 1 lit. to grant a.

Since we process the data based on our legitimate interests, you generally have the right to object if you have reasons arising from your particular situation that speak against this processing.
